Good [morning/afternoon/evening], esteemed colleagues, partners, and friends of SecureLife.

As we stand here today and reflect on the journey of SecureLife over the past two years, it fills me with immense pride and gratitude to recount the strides we have made together. These achievements are a testament to our shared vision, dedication, and resilience in the face of challenges.

Leadership and Growth
We began this period with a significant milestone—the inauguration of a new director. This leadership change has brought fresh perspectives and innovative strategies, driving us toward a brighter future.

Team Expansion
Our organization has seen incredible growth in talent with the addition of exceptional individuals:

  • Mashau Walters, who joined us on 17th June 2023,
  • Mabunda A, on 16th July 2023,
  • Nkuna NP, on 18th April 2024, and
  • Mashaba K, on 15th April 2024.

These new hires have brought invaluable skills and energy, strengthening our commitment to excellence.

Infrastructure and Assets
To support our expanding operations, we have significantly enhanced our resources:

  • Acquiring new vehicles (Reg 001, 0014, 0033, 0034, and 0035),
  • Adding essential firearms to our arsenal.

In January 2023, we opened a new office at 53 Grobler Street, marking a significant expansion of our physical footprint. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that new offices in Centurion and Rustenburg will open soon, further solidifying our presence.

New Initiatives
This period also saw the establishment of our Investigations Department, an essential step forward in our mission to provide comprehensive and specialized services.
We introduced SEESA to handle disciplinary hearings, which has eased operational burdens while transferring invaluable skills to our team. This initiative has also contributed to a notable reduction in CCMA cases.

Compliance and Skills Development
In our continued commitment to compliance and excellence, we have aligned with Sectoral Determination 6 for security officers under the Department of Health Contract. This reflects our dedication to adhering to industry standards and promoting fair labor practices.

Moreover, we have prioritized upskilling our security officers through Regulation 21 training and PSIRA upgrades, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Looking Ahead
As we celebrate these achievements, we are reminded that they are not merely milestones but building blocks for our future. Together, we have laid a strong foundation for sustained growth, innovation, and service excellence.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every member of the SecureLife family for their hard work, dedication, and commitment. To our leadership, staff, and partners—thank you for your unwavering support and belief in our shared mission.

As we look to the future, I am confident that SecureLife will continue to thrive, innovate, and lead in our industry. Here’s to many more years of success, together.

Thank you.
